| Cooling Method |
The WineCooler4U.com products include the two primary cooling methods: 1) the same as your kitchen refrigerator, called traditional or standard cooling; and 2) thermoelectric, a method that is very quiet and uses a hi-tech solution. There is a third method, which combines the above methods and a variant of the thermoelectric called thermo-siphon heat pump. The thermoelectric wine refrigerators are very quiet compared to the standard method. |

Wine refrigerator prices vary from less than $150 (for 1 – 12 bottles), to $150 - $500 (7 bottle very modern unit from Chambrer, and 12 – 35 bottle units from Vinotemp, Avanti and Danby at under $300 and includes a number of our thermoelectric models), to $500 - $1,000 (21 – 58 bottles, including our lowest priced wooden wine cellars. Finally, in the over $1,000 category are the higher capacity wine coolers and the beautiful wooden wine cellars.
