Residential Use:  Two (2)-year limited warranty on parts and labor and three (3)-year parts-only warranty on the compressor.

Commercial Use:  One (1)-year limited warranty on parts and labor and three (3)-year parts-only warranty on the compressor.

Cavavin guaranties to the original owner of this Product that it is free from defects in material and workmanship.  Cavavin will either repair or replace the Product during the applicable period, as stated above, subject ot the terms and conditions of this Warranty.  Service under this Warranty must be provided by an authorized Cavavin repair center.  In the event that there is no Cavavin authorized repair center in the area where the owner of the Product resides, the owner is responsible for all costs related to transporting the Product to the nearest authorized repair center.  The repair center will use only new or refurbished parts approved by Cavavin.  Service will be provided during normal business hours.  In any case where replacement has been deemed necessary, Cavavin’s sole liability will be to make available a comparably featured product of current production or offer a credit redeemable at the dealer that sold the original Product, and according to the limit of this contract.

EXCLUSIONS:    

The following damages, parts and costs are excluded from this Warranty.

A)     Loss of wine or any other product due to alteration.

B)     Consequential damages, loss of use, or delay resulting from the failure of the Product or from Cavavin’s inability to or delay in making the necessary repairs under this Warranty.

C)     “No fault found” diagnosis or any service call related to the door inversion procedure or to the installation of the Product.

D)     This Warranty applies only to the operation of the Product under conditions for which it was designed.  It does not cover loss or damage resulting from external causes, including but not limited to defective or inadequate wiring, outages as a result of public utility company action or inaction, or a tripped breaker, accident, water, fire, windstorm, hail, lightning, earthquake, theft, misuse or abuse, or repair carried out by an unauthorized repair centre.

E)      Door hinges and reinforcements, interior panels, crosspieces or supports, and the interior lining.

F)      Light bulb, fuse, charcoal filter or any parts normally designed to be replaced periodically by the Owner during the life of the Product.

G)     Periodical cleaning and/or recommended maintenance.

H)     Installation costs of a replacement unit.

I)       Costs related to the removal or re-installation of a Product that is not easily accessible to the technician .
