Hi.  We are Jerry & Ada Walker.  WineCooler4U.com is an extension of our long-time love of wines - the tasting, collecting and, of course, drinking of thousands of wines over 28 years.  We lived in Southern CA and visited all of the wine regions and attented over 1000 wine events, ranging from simple tastings of a few friendse sharing our love to very large wine and food events where we could select from hundreds of wines to taste, and could experience a dozen wines all made independently made and all using the grapes from a single vineyard. Pretty exciting stuff.

Over these years we have wanted to confidently keep a wide variety of wines on hand.  Confidently being the key word.  We knew to keep our wines in cool place away from direct sun.  Twenty-four years after we began our love affair with wines, we obtained a sixteen bottle wine cooler from a friend who was moving up to a larger one.  Though it was useful, and always full, it gradually became clear that this was not doing the job for us.  So, two years ago, we replaced it with a 75 bottle Danby Silhouette wine cooler.  We loaded up our wine, and it was only half full.  This was the beginning of another phase of our wine life. We quickly filled it to capacity, and it remains mostly full today.  Every day we can choose the wine complimenting our mood or food pairing desires; sometimes both on the same day.  We take advantage of sales.  We grab something unusual when the opportunity presents itself.  And, we began telling our wine loving friends and acquaintances about the joy of a wine cooler.

In mid-2008 we came upon an opportunity to evolve our love of wine and our enjoyment of our wine cooler one step further.  We found a company that provided a platform for the development of an online business.  We attended some seminars, then some serious classes and then began development of this website.  We obtained technical and marketing assistance.  We found companies that manufactured or distributed wine coolers and arranged for us to be dealers for them.  The website went live in October 2008.  Now, by early 2010 we represent two manufacturers, have a distributor providing us with over 100 products and are about to add another manufacturer and assume full responsibility for the shipping of all of our products.  In each case our suppliers drop-ship our orders directly to our customers. But, most importantly, we coordinate the shipping and if anything goes wrong with a shipment we deal with the shipper.
