About Us

WineCooler4U.com offers a wide selection of wine coolers, wine refrigerators and wine cellars.  Our efforts every day are devoted to making the experiences of our visitors pleasant and informative. We will help our visitors find a wine cooler that fits their exact needs.

WineCooler4U.com is an extension of our long-time love of wines - the tasting, collecting and, of course, drinking of thousands of wines over more than 20 years.  While living in Southern CA we visited all of the wine regions and attended over 1,000 wine events, ranging from simple tastings of a few people sharing our love of wine to very large wine and food events, where we could select from hundreds of wines to taste. 

Over these years we have wanted to confidently keep a wide variety of wines on hand.  "Confidently" being the key word.  We knew to keep our wines in a cool place away from direct sun.  We first obtained a sixteen-bottle wine cooler to store our wines.  Though it was useful, and always full, it gradually became clear that this was not doing the job.  So, we replaced it with a 75 bottle Danby Silhouette wine cooler.  We loaded up our wine, and it was only half full, but this was the beginning of another phase. We quickly filled it to capacity, and it remains mostly full today.  Every day we can choose the wine complimenting our mood or food pairing desire, sometimes both on the same day.  We take advantage of sales.  We grab something unusual when the opportunity presents itself.  And, we began telling our wine loving friends and acquaintances about the joy of a wine cooler.

We decided to develop this web site to tell many more wine lovers about the benefits of owning a wine cooler.  We represent 4 manufacturers' products, ranging from small to large wine cooler/refrigerators to elegant wine furniture and wine preservation systems.

We strive to offer all our products at the lowest prices available on the internet and to deliver excellent customer service.  Visitors can contact us via phone, by e-mail or by using our Online Chat feature.

Our Credit Card Processing Policy

YOUR CREDIT CARD IS NOT CHARGED UNTIL YOUR ORDER IS SHIPPED.  When your order is shipped you will be notified and the credit card transaction will be processed.  If, for any reason, we cannot confirm shipping (eg. item out of stock), we will notify you immediately.  You will be given the opportunity to cancel the transaction.

Shipping (Standard)

Most items experience standard shipping, means that the delivery will be to a dry area inside the building.

Orders received by noon (US Pacific Time) are usually shipped within 3 days.   Units with wooden components will usually take longer and, in some cases, much longer as some units are built to order. The shipping method varies by the size of the unit and the destination.  Most items are shipped by ground freight.  Some are shipped UPS.  Most of our items include free shipping.  The UPS items will have their cost entered during the Check-Out process. 

Shipping (In-Home)

Vinotemp Portofino Series (wood cabinets) are delivered in-home, meaning:

  • Scheduled Delivery -- The shipper will call and arrange delivery whenever it's most convenient for you.
  • Unpacking/Assembly -- The shipper will take your new wine cooler out of the box.
  • Damage Inspection -- The shipper will make sure it's not broken when they deliver it, and if it is broken, they'll work with you to get another one.
  • Debris Removal -- The shipper will take the packing material with them when they leave, so you don't have to worry about it.

Transit Time

Transit time is 7 - 14 days depending upon the distance from our warehouses and the transportation used - truck or UPS.  Destinations relatively close to our warehouses, Rancho Dominguez, CA (Los Angeles metro) and Richfield, OH (between Akron and Cleveland) regularly experience shorter transit times.

Purchaser Stops Payment

If Purchaser stops payment on a credit card for any reason, Purchaser agrees to pay for all costs associated with the Seller's connection or litigation of such a claim, including without limitation extra damages, court costs and attorneys' fees. Finance charges begin the date of invoice. Collection fees plus NSF fee of $50 will be added to your invoice, which you agree to promptly pay. Title to the goods does not pass until payment is received in full by Seller and Seller retains a security interest in the goods until they are paid for in full.

If you have a problem with any wine cooler that you have purchased from us, we will work with you and our manufacturers to achieve an equitable conclusion.

Our Privacy Policy

We collect your e-mail address during the order process and when you communicate with us via e-mail.  Our site does not automatically recognize any information regarding where you are on the internet, aggregate information on what pages visitors access, and user specific information on what pages consumers access or visit.

The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for individual consumers and used by us to contact consumers.
